The Gallipoli Campaign occur between 25th April 1915 – 9th January 1916 and took part during World War One. The Gallipoli Campaign was a united military operation of the Allied Powers in the Gallipoli Peninsula in the former Ottoman Empire. The action was that the British Empire and French considered to attack on the Turkish to carry out to open up a third front in addition to the Eastern and Western Fronts. The strait was connecting the Mediterranean Sea with the Black Sea, this will then allow France and Britain to supply route to access Russia. The Countries that were involved in the Gallipoli Campaign were the British and French troops as well as the Australian and New Zealand army corps was part of under the ANZAC.
